Ian Graham (CTO Endace Technology) - The DAG network measurement and monitoring architecture

Abstract

This talk will describe in further detail the architecture of the DAG cards, some of their applications, recent developments in coprocessors, and the process of commercialisation of the technology.

Bio

Ian is Chief Technology Officer, and one of the founding owners and directors of the Endace group of companies.
Ian completed a PhD in Radio Astronomy at the University of Cambridge in 1971. After a varied career he came to the University of Waikato in 1986. Since 1990 he has been Dean of the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at Waikato, a post which he will relinquish in early 2004, to return to a professorial position in the Department of Computer Science.
In 1995 Ian started the DAG project in the University, which eventually led to the formation of the Endace group of companies. http://www.endace.com/
